How you can Help
Evaluation Priorities
Help prioritise evaluations that are relevant to clinical diagnostics and public health microbiology. You can do this through our Customer Feedback System and propose projects via the Centre for Evidence-based Purchasing.
We require an ongoing supply of specimens to undertake our evaluations. If you are able to help us to source specimens then please contact the Microbiological Diagnostics Assessment Service. Our ethics statement on sourcing specimens has been reviewed by NRES.
Currently we are particularly interested in acquring syphilis positive specimens from clinical cases (primary, secondary, early latent or late latent samples) and/or IgM positive syphilis specimens.
Collaborations
Some of our evaluations are undertaken in collaboration with laboratories that have particular microbiological expertise. Please contact us if you would like to collaborate on a particular area of evaluation.
